Appstore opens instead of the Terra Avengers App

Problem

At step 3 of the Apple Watch connection process, the Terra App doesn’t open as described. Instead the App Store opens up, showing the Terra App with the ability to open the Terra Avengers App through the App Store. After open the app, nothing happens. When selecting the sync button in the Terra Avengers App, an error message “log in first / not connected” appears. As a result the Apple Watch connection is not established.


Solution: Delete history, cache, and cookies

This problem occurs when the Safari is defaulting to open the App store when an app is opened via Safari. Please follow the below step to solve this issue:

  1. On your iPhone go to Settings>Safari

  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data

Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information.

When there's no history or website data to clear, the button to clear it turns gray. The button might also be gray if you have web content restrictions set up under Content & Privacy Restrictions in Screen Time.
