Apple Watch Instructions

Follow the steps below to get yourself set up with your Apple Watch on the Pacinity Platform.

Step 1 - Download the Terra Avengers app

Download the Terra Avengers app onto your iPhone, which facilitates a connection between your Apple Health app and the Pacinity platform.


 

Step 2 - Login or create an account on the Pacinity platform

If you already have an account on the Pacinity platform, login to your account on your iPhone and go to step 3 below.

If don’t have an account yet, head to your email app on your iPhone and click the Create your account button in the invitation email you have received from donotreply@pacinity.app.

Complete the form using a complex password (12 characters long including a capital letter and a number), and click the register button.

If you don’t have an email app on your iPhone, you can register an account on your desktop first. You will then need to log out of the Pacinity platform on your computer and log back in on your iPhone before you go to step 3 below.

Haven’t received the invitation email? Check your spam folder in the first instance (sender is donotreply@pacinity.app). Not in your spam folder either? Contact our support team (support@pacinity.com).

Step 3 - Connect wearable

Once logged in to the Pacinity platform on your iPhone, select the My Wearables menu item. Click the “+ Register wearable” button.

Follow the on screen prompts and select the “Connect” button next to Apple Health. You will be directed to the login page of your wearable device and asked to accept Terra (tryterra.co) to have access to your wearable data. Select all options or “allow all” and click the Accept button. As data options are different for each wearable, selecting all options or “allow all” will ensure we can access the correct data (note: we will only collect the data we need as specified in the Privacy Statement).

The Terra Avengers app will briefly appear to establish the connection and you are then automatically redirected back to the Pacinity Platform and will receive a notification that your wearable device connection has been successfully established. You can see your wearable connection by clicking on the My Wearable menu item.

In some cases (for example when you are using private browsing mode) you may have a different experience. This may include having to log back in on the Pacinity platform and needing to navigate back to the My Wearables page to see the message indicating your wearable device connection was successful.

If you have more than one Apple account, make sure to register your wearable using the same Apple account you use in the Apple Health app.

Step 4 - Verify data syncing

Your data is synced from your wearable to the Pacinity platform via the Apple Health and Terra Avengers app (not directly from your Apple Watch).

Check therefore that your data (step counts, active minutes, heart rate etc) appears in the Apple Health app. If it doesn’t, refer to the Apple Watch manual to set this up.

To avoid manually syncing your Apple Watch data to the Apple Health app, ensure “Background App Refresh” is enabled for the Apple Health and Terra Avengers app. To do this, go to Settings>General>Background App Refresh on your iPhone and make sure Background App Refresh is set to “Wi-Fi” or “WiFi & Cellular Data” and that the toggle next to Apple Health and Terra Avengers is set to enabled.

If your data is showing in Apple Health and auto syncing is set up properly but your data is not coming through to the Pacinity platform, refer to this trouble shooting guide or contact our support team (support@pacinity.com).
